- At least 15 Mbps upload where the console is and 15 Mbps download where you play
- Graphics card
- Detailed requirements for upscaling and frame generation will be published with the first release

- A PlayStation Network account and a PlayRoam subscription

Download the installer and check its SHA-256.

Run it. Windows SmartScreen may ask for confirmation the first time a new app runs.

Sign in with your PlayRoam account.

Choose your PS5, set resolution and frame rate, and press Start.

Is PlayRoam free to download?
Yes. You need a subscription to start streaming; you can install the app and sign in before you subscribe.
Does PlayRoam work on Mac or Linux?
Not yet. PlayRoam runs on Windows 10 and 11 today. iOS and Android apps are on the way.
Do I need PS Plus?
No. Remote Play on PS5 doesn't require PS Plus; you need a PlayStation Network account signed in on the console.
How do I turn on Remote Play on my PS5?
On the PS5 open Settings, then System, then Remote Play, and turn on Enable Remote Play. To wake the console remotely, also allow turning on the PS5 from the network in the rest mode power-saving settings.
