Grand Theft Auto VI is the most anticipated open-world game in years, and on console it targets 30 FPS. Rockstar hasn't published resolutions or announced a performance mode. Frame generation doesn't change the game's simulation: physics, AI and input still run at the console's 30 FPS, and each generated frame adds a little latency. In GTA 6 that trade is usually worth it: driving, flying and camera pans are where 30 FPS feels slowest, and they gain the most.
