PS5 Remote Play at 720p vs 1080p with FSR, in 12 games

Twelve PlayStation games, each first as a 720p stream on a weak connection, then as PlayRoam shows it: 1080p with FSR 1 upscaling. The frames are the same official trailer footage, so only the picture quality changes.

What changes on screen

Each game first plays as a 720p stream squeezed into a low bitrate, as on a weak connection: skin turns waxy, hair and fabric smear, and fast motion breaks into blocks.

Then a line of light sweeps across and the stream switches to 1080p, upscaled to the screen with FSR 1, as PlayRoam Pro shows it. Both versions come from the same frames of official PlayStation trailers, processed the same way.

How your own stream looks depends on your network, your console and your screen. Streaming at 1080p at home is free in PlayRoam; FSR 1 upscaling comes with Pro, along with 30 → 60 FPS frame generation and PS5 play away from home.
